Diane Myers
Handweaver
Diane is a fiber artist specializing in handwoven clothing and domestic textiles. She also hand knits items using her own handspun and hand dyed yarns. Ecofriendly raw materials she uses include organic cottons, yarns made from recycled materials, repurposed fabrics and manufacturers excess. Most of her wool is locally sourced and is hand dyed using locally grown natural materials. Historical weaving is a strong interest of hers, and she can be found demonstrating weaving on an 18th century barn loom at the Morgan-Burwell Mill in Millwood, Virginia most Saturdays when the weather is warm. Otherwise, Diane is creating her goods at her home studio in Middleway, WV.
